Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains our processing times, delivery estimates, shipping options, and how import charges work for international orders. It applies to purchases made on dinostudios.co.uk.

  1. Processing time
    Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Some products or large orders may take longer during busy periods. If we need extra time for your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

  2. Delivery estimates
    Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Delivery can be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, peak seasons, and other events outside our control.

Typical estimated transit times after dispatch:

  • UK: usually a few business days depending on the service selected

  • Europe: typically several business days depending on the service selected

  • USA and Canada: typically several business days up to around two weeks depending on the service selected

  • Australia and other international destinations: timing varies by country and service

    We offer a range of shipping methods, which may vary by destination and order contents. Available options and prices are shown at checkout.

Standard shipping
Our standard shipping option is designed to balance cost and speed. Depending on your destination, standard shipping may be shipped on a DDP or DAP basis (see section 4).

Faster shipping upgrade
For some destinations we offer a faster shipping upgrade. This upgrade is an additional charge on top of standard shipping and generally prioritises speed. Some faster upgrade services are shipped on a DAP basis, meaning import charges can be payable on delivery.

DDP upgraded shipping
For some destinations we offer a DDP upgraded shipping option. Where offered, this option is intended to provide faster delivery while also handling import charges upfront (see section 4). Availability can vary by country. If it is not available at checkout, contact us and we will advise what is possible.

DHL express option
If you want to reduce the chance of extended customs wait times, we may be able to offer an express service through DHL or another express carrier. This can speed up customs handling, but it can also involve additional carrier handling fees and charges linked to the declared value of the shipment. Where available, we can sometimes offer this as either:

  • Paid upfront, so you are less likely to be charged on delivery, or

  • Payable on delivery, depending on destination and service rules

  1. Import duties, taxes, and DDP vs DAP
    International orders may be subject to import VAT, duties, and carrier handling fees depending on your country.

DDP (Delivered Duties Paid)
If you select a DDP shipping option, import duties and taxes are intended to be paid upfront as part of shipping. This reduces the chance of surprise charges on delivery. Some destinations or specific services may have exceptions, and local authorities can still apply charges in rare cases outside our control.

DAP (Delivered At Place)
If you select a DAP shipping option, import duties, taxes, and any carrier handling fees are not included and may be charged to you by the carrier or customs authority before delivery or on delivery.

The shipping method shown at checkout will indicate whether it is DDP or DAP. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

  1. Address accuracy and delivery issues
    You are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address, including unit numbers and any required delivery instructions.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect, or unpaid DAP import charges, we may require payment of reshipping costs before re-sending. If you prefer not to have the order re-sent, we may refund the item price only, excluding shipping and any return-to-sender fees charged by the carrier.

  1. Tracking
    Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details once your order is dispatched. Some lower-cost services may provide limited tracking updates.

  2. Split shipments
    If you order multiple items, we may ship them together or separately depending on production timing and packaging constraints. If an order is split, you will receive tracking details for each parcel where available.

  3. Lost, delayed, or damaged parcels
    Delays
    Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. If your parcel is delayed beyond a reasonable time, contact us and we will help investigate with the carrier.

Damage in transit
If your order arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the damaged items. We will assess and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
